realtimerecovery.net on ‘Doctor Shopping’

If the monitors mentioned in this compelling article had been in place 20 years ago, I would have earned a number of years in prison by now. Indeed, I am a veteran ‘doctor shopper,’ and find it hard, even today, to visit a health professional without thinking of asking for a prescription for benzodiazepines in any form. Opoids did not prove to be of addictive interest to me simply because of their tendency to cause stomach distress.
